Since first learning the basics of Photography at college in 2008 I've been fascinated with all things photo. I spent many years using film cameras, before moving over to the mirrorless format in 2015. Since this point my hobby has become a passion and that passion is what I want to share with everyone. Photography should tell a story, evoke emotion and capture the wonderful, this is what I offer. Every time I pick up my camera I a writing a story, so get in touch and we can start to tell yours.

I'm Matt, and my passion in Photography has lead me to start Wisp Photography. I want to be your story teller, and capture the memories that you will cherish for a lifetime.

I feel that photography is an important aspect of our lives, we all carry a camera everywhere we go, loaded with 1000's of photos and screenshots. We all love to scroll through our album and share our favourites with others, but we also lose some of the magic in our photos. I want to bring you back to basics, and capture natural and powerful photos, photos that will stand the test of time and tell a different kind of story, photos that can be proudly displayed and invoke questions, photos that you stop to reminisce and take you away from the everyday.

I like to shoot in a natural style, apply documentary and candid approaches. This means that every emotion you see shines through in a natural way, and that no one is feeling the pressure of a big camera and the overbearing feeling of being on display. Of course I always make time for the classic posed shots, but even here, we can relax and remove a lot of the formality and stiffness often involved.

From weddings to pets, I will apply the same techniques, and ensure that the same care and attention is taken in everything that I photograph. I am based in Suffolk, but I'm available to shoot anywhere in our beautiful country. I am always happy to take onboard your requirements, and will gladly work with you to achieve your dreams. I enjoy a challenge and the opportunity to think outside the box, so please don't feel you need to hold back, it's important that your personality and vision shines through in every photograph.
